Our Sun Deck is the largest on the Nile, and it is the heart of the ship. At its center lies the most spacious pool on the river, with open views over the water, a bubbling jacuzzi beside it and fresh-water showers just steps away. Around them: a poolside bar, loungers and daybeds with towel service, generous shaded seating and an open-air billiard table. In the afternoon, tea and desserts are served on deck while the riverbank glides past. Come sunset, there is no better seat in Egypt.
On most Nile ships, a balcony is a privilege reserved for suites, if it exists at all. On the City and Sea Adonis, every one of our sixty cabins has its own private French balcony: floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open fully to the river, with a seating area beside them. All sixty Deluxe Cabins are identical: 22 square meters, the same elegant interiors, the same amenities, the same private French balcony. There are no interior cabins and no lower-deck cabins anywhere on board. Every single cabin, on every deck, faces the Nile directly. The only choice you make is the deck, and that is simply a matter of taste.
