Upon your arrival at Luxor Airport or Luxor Train Station, you will be greeted by our professional staff representative who will be waiting for you, holding a welcome sign with your name. You will then be transferred to the City and Sea Adonis Nile Cruise Ship by a private air-conditioned vehicle. If you do not require transportation, you can board the ship directly. Once on board, check-in and enjoy a delightful meal. Enjoy your first night aboard, docked under the stars of Luxor.
- Day 2 Friday: Luxor's Gems

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations must be made in writing by email to online@cityandseaadonis.com. Refunds are calculated from your trip start (check-in) date and are returned to your original payment method.
- 30 days or more before check-in: 85% refund (15% cancellation fee).
- 29 to 15 days before check-in: 75% refund (25% cancellation fee).

For this seven-night cruise, the first day is completely free of excursions, giving you the perfect opportunity to settle in and enjoy the ship at your own pace. You’re welcome to arrive any time you like at Luxor Airport on Thursday – morning, afternoon, or evening. Our complimentary pick-up service operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, so we’ll be ready to welcome you whenever you land at Luxor Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you with a welcome sign, assist with your luggage, and transfer you directly to the Nile cruise ship.
Once on board, you can explore the ship’s amenities – whether that’s relaxing on the sundeck, enjoying the lounge bar, unwinding in the spa, or savoring your first meal in the restaurant. There’s no rush and no stress on this day, making it the perfect start to your week-long Nile adventure.
- Your Last Day – Thursday Departure from Luxor
Just like your first day, the final day of the seven-night cruise has no scheduled excursions. This means you can plan your departure whenever you wish – morning, midday, or evening. Our complimentary transfer service to Luxor Airport operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring a smooth journey to catch your flight. Cabin checkout is at ten in the morning, but if your flight is later in the day, you’re welcome to relax in the reception area or enjoy the ship’s amenities until it’s time for your transfer. It’s a peaceful and unhurried end to your week on the Nile.

What is the Amun Adventure package?
The Amun Adventure is a luxurious 7-night, 8-day fully guided Nile cruise aboard the five-star City and Sea Adonis, a round trip between Luxor and Aswan. Over a full week, your certified Egyptologist leads you through the greatest monuments of Upper Egypt, Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, Edfu, Kom Ombo, the Aswan High Dam, Philae and more, with full-board dining, all-inclusive drinks, and deluxe accommodation throughout. Where does the cruise sail, and where is the ship?
Your cruise is a round trip between Luxor and Aswan, stopping at key sites along the Nile. The ship’s home port is in Luxor, on the Corniche al-Nile directly in front of the Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel and a short distance from Luxor Temple. After sailing to Aswan and back, it returns to its home dock in Luxor, where the journey began.
On which days can I check in and check out?
Check-in for the 7-night cruise is on Thursdays in Luxor, at our harbour in front of the Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel. It is a round trip, sailing down to Aswan and back, and you disembark in Luxor on the following Thursday. A Google Maps link to the harbour is in our footer.
Does this package include all-inclusive drinks?
Yes. This package, like every cruise package on our website, includes all-inclusive drinks at no extra cost. Aboard the City and Sea Adonis you can enjoy unlimited water, soft drinks, and local alcoholic beverages throughout the ship, in the restaurant, the lounge, on the sundeck, and in your cabin. It is automatically included for everyone who books online, with no upgrade or extra charge.
Can you tell me more about the complimentary pick-up service?
Guests who book their Nile cruise online through cityandseaadonis.com enjoy a complimentary private pick-up and drop-off service. We collect you from Luxor Airport or Luxor train station on arrival and take you straight to the ship, and at the end of your round-trip cruise we transfer you back to Luxor Airport or train station for your departure. This exclusive service is available only for guests who book through our official website.
Is full board included?
Yes. Every guest enjoys full board on the cruise, breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, featuring a variety of Egyptian and international cuisine, plus afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Is there Wi-Fi on board?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship, including the cabins and all communal areas, so you can stay connected during your cruise.
Are flight tickets included?
No, flight tickets are not included in this package.
What kind of cabins does the cruise offer?
The City and Sea Adonis offers a range of accommodation to suit every traveler. Most guests choose a Deluxe Cabin (22 m²) with a French balcony, available for single, double, or triple occupancy. The ship also has two exclusive suites, a Junior Suite (42 m²) and a Royal Suite (72 m²), plus dedicated family cabins. A shared double or triple cabin is the most cost-effective option per person, while a single cabin offers complete privacy. Are the excursions included in the price of the Amun Adventure package?
Yes, every program and excursion listed in the ‘included’ section is covered in the price and guided by an expert Egyptologist in your chosen language (English, German, French, Spanish, or Italian). Optional on-site excursions, such as Abu Simbel, can be added for an extra fee.
What languages can your Egyptologist guide speak?
When you click ‘Book Now’, you will choose your preferred language. We currently offer guided tours in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. If you need another language, email us and we will do our best to arrange it.
Is the Abu Simbel excursion included?
No, Abu Simbel is not included by default. It is available as an optional add-on for $180 per person when you click ‘Book Now’, and can also be arranged on board once you arrive. It is one of our most popular excursions, so we recommend adding it early.
Can I bring my children on the cruise?
Yes, City and Sea Adonis is family-friendly and welcomes all ages. Children aged 0–5 stay free of charge in their parents’ cabin, children aged 6–11 pay 50% of the adult rate, and guests aged 12 and over are charged at the adult rate.

City and Sea Adonis is operated by City and Sea Hotel Management, part of the family-run City and Sea Travel Group.
