Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Cancellations must be made in writing by email to online@cityandseaadonis.com. Refunds are calculated from your trip start (check-in) date and are returned to your original payment method.
- 30 days or more before check-in: 85% refund (15% cancellation fee).
- 29 to 15 days before check-in: 75% refund (25% cancellation fee).
- 14 to 3 days before check-in: 50% refund (50% cancellation fee).

Arrival & Departure Guidelines
- Your First Day – Saturday Arrival in Cairo
Your first day in Cairo is completely free of excursions, giving you the perfect opportunity to settle in and recover from your journey. Our representative will greet you at Cairo International Airport, assist with your luggage and visa stamp, and provide a private transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence. Whether you choose to relax by the outdoor pool, explore the First Residence complex, or simply unwind in your room, there is no rush and no scheduled sightseeing on arrival day.
- Your Last Day – Day 14, Friday Departure from Cairo
The final days of your programme are arranged so that departure is calm whatever time your international flight leaves. On Day 13, Thursday, you fly from Luxor back to Cairo and spend your last night at Le Méridien Cairo Airport on a bed and breakfast basis.
You fly home on Day 14, Friday, from Cairo. Please book your international flight for Friday, and not for Thursday. A Thursday flight would cost you a night you have already paid for.
The hotel is joined to Terminal 3 of Cairo International Airport by a private pedestrian bridge, so on Friday morning you wake up already at the airport and can reach the terminal on foot. Breakfast at the hotel is included. Whatever time your flight leaves, please allow the usual time for check-in, security and passport control, and let us know in advance if you are departing from a different terminal.

Yes. Both domestic flights within Egypt are included, Cairo → Luxor at the start of the cruise and Luxor → Cairo at the end (the 7-night cruise is a round trip ending back in Luxor). International flights to and from Egypt are not included.
Are meals included?
At the Four Seasons Cairo and Le Méridien you are on bed and breakfast, with lunch included on every excursion day. On the Nile cruise you enjoy full board, breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus all-inclusive drinks on board.
Do I get all-inclusive drinks?
On the City and Sea Adonis, yes, unlimited water, soft drinks, and local alcoholic beverages are included throughout the cruise. At the Cairo hotels and local restaurants, beverages are at your own expense.
How large are the groups?
Ra Royalty runs as an exclusive small-group experience of 2 to a maximum of 10 guests, ensuring a personal, relaxed pace at every site.
Are admission tickets, transfers and tips included?
Yes. All admission tickets, guide fees, transportation, domestic flights, and gratuities for drivers, hotel staff and ship crew are included, there are no hidden fees. Tips for your Egyptologist guide are left to your discretion.
Is the Egypt entry visa included?
Egypt Entry Visa: Not included in the base package. Add the Visa on Arrival Service for 40 USD per person, all ages, and our team handles the complete process on arrival.
Is the Abu Simbel excursion included?
Abu Simbel is an optional excursion, not included by default. You can add it by land for $180 per person or by plane for $450 per person.
Are flight tickets included?
International flights to and from Egypt are not included. All domestic flights within Egypt (Cairo → Luxor and Luxor → Cairo) are included.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. Children aged 0–5 stay free of charge, ages 6–11 enjoy a reduced rate, and guests aged 12 and over are charged at the adult rate. Family packages are available; just ask.
Are your guides certified Egyptologists?
Yes. Your guide is a certified, state-licensed Egyptologist who accompanies you throughout the entire journey, bringing every site and museum to life with expert insight.
What languages are the tours available in?
When you click ‘Book Now’, you will choose your preferred language. We currently offer guided tours in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. If you need another language, email us and we will do our best to arrange it.
